The construction of the building has been completed in five years since the administrative work of Triveni Rural Municipality began.

The work that was supposed to be completed in three years could not be completed due to the contractor's delay. The building work was finally completed after the municipality repeatedly requested it.

Triveni Rural Municipality had signed an agreement with Prakruti/Hamal JV Company on Ashad 30, 2077 for Rs 53.4 million with the aim of completing the work in 30 months.

The contractor Laxman Hamal had stalled the work for two years citing problems such as COVID-19 infection and shortage of construction materials. Triveni Rural Municipality Chairman Khim Bahadur Rawat said that the work was finally completed after calling and pressuring the main contractors Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and Laxman Hamal. Earlier, the municipality had been operating the office by renting three houses for Rs 100,000 per month.

Chief Administrative Officer Khum Bahadur KC said that the newly constructed building has been operational since Monday. He said that having their own building will eliminate the need for service recipients to walk around looking for different fields.
