RB Construction, which took charge of the construction work, completed the work 8 months ahead of the agreed date.
The Infrastructure Development Office had signed an agreement with RB Construction on 17 Baisakh 2081. The bridge was to be completed by 15 Ashar 2083 at a cost of 36.276 million 463 rupees and 79 paisa.
Pravin Karki, the head of the Infrastructure Development Office, Dailekh, said that the locals were happy that the work was completed ahead of schedule. He said that since there was no bridge at that location, they were forced to travel through the river.
Prakash Thapa, the chairman of Ward 2, said that with the construction of the bridge at Taraghat, all wards of the municipality have been provided with transportation facilities. RB Construction Company, which has been completing work ahead of the agreed date in various places in Dailekh, has been receiving awards from various sectors.
