A young man has died after falling during the construction of a monastery in Baijibada, Kaike Rural Municipality-5. 25-year-old Narbu Rokay, who was working on the roof of the monastery, fell from the roof.
The injured Rokaya was immediately taken to the District Hospital Dunai for treatment, but he died during the treatment, said Ruk Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, Dolpa. The body of the deceased has been kept at the District Hospital Dunai for post-mortem and further investigation into the incident is underway, DSP Khadka said. The police said that two local workers were also slightly injured in the roof collapse.
