The three people who had gone to collect dung (dung) on horseback on Tuesday last Tuesday, informed the Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality, Man Bahadur Thapa, who came in contact only on Thursday.
According to Thapa, all the people who came in contact are members of the same family from the same village. The mother, son and daughter-in-law had gone to collect dung on horseback. The municipality's excavator was also sent to rescue them.
'They had taken food including satu with them,' Thapa said, 'They stayed there for three days after the heavy snowfall.'
Since it often snows in Upper Dolpa since November, there is a tradition of collecting firewood and dung for heating the fire and cooking food at that time.
It has been snowing continuously in Upper Dolpa for three days and life has become difficult. After the snowfall covered the forest, there has also been a problem in animal husbandry.
Pemma Dharke Gurung informed that telephone service has been blocked in Dolpobuddha Rural Municipality for two days.
