The woman's body was found floating in the water on the banks of the Sharda River, half of her body was missing clothes and various parts of her body were covered in mud, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dr. Hem Bahadur KC, Chief of the District Police Office, Salyan. He informed that the name, surname, and address of the woman found dead have not been revealed. According to him, a police team from the District Police Office and Area Police Office, Sheetalpati, has reached the spot and is preparing to send the body of the deceased to the District Hospital, Salyan for a postmortem. He said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
