822 people have benefited from the acupuncture health treatment camp organized for the first time in Dolpa.
In a 6-day camp conducted in Tripurasundari Municipality, Ward 5, Khadang and Ward 1, Tripurakot, with the support of Patan Acupuncture Clinic, 822 people were treated free of charge.
Dr. Shyam Maharjan of Patan Acupuncture Clinic informed that the acupuncture camp was conducted to provide health treatment facilities to the residents of remote areas at their homes.
According to Dr. Maharjan, acupuncture, an ancient Chinese treatment method, treats many types of diseases with needles. He said that most of the patients responded positively after the treatment. Doctors from Nepal and Switzerland participated in the camp.
