Political activity in Karnali has become zero after the movement led by Jen-G. Since the agitation, the provincial committee meetings of the Congress, UML and Maoist parties have not been able to hold, and the formal programs of the political parties throughout the province are also zero.
During the agitation, provincial and district offices of UML and Maoists and district offices of Congress were set on fire. Because of this, most of the party offices are deserted .

General Minister of Congress Karnali Province Krishna Bahadur Rokaya said that due to confusion from the center, a positive message has not yet been spread among the workers. He said that due to the uncomfortable situation after the movement, even though informal meetings of workers were being held, formal meetings and public programs could not be held. "Political activity could not be increased due to the festive season," he said, "andolan also created some confusion in the activities of the party." The secretariat meeting of the district committee of UML was held on Monday. There is a power alliance between UML and Congress in Karnali. The meeting of the two-party mechanism has not been held since July 25. After the movement led by Jen-G, Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel and Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Jeevan Bahadur Shahi issued a joint statement on August 30 and appealed to protect the achievements made in the current situation and move forward unitedly.
The Maoists have said that the decisions of the Central Committee meeting held on October 9 and 10 are flowing through various channels. But the official programs of the Maoists are also zero since the movement. "Political instability on the one hand, party offices arson on the other," said Maoist Karnali province in-charge Kali Bahadur Malla.
Now is the time for the parties to make the workers more active, but their silence has not sent a positive message, said Kamal Lamsal, vice-professor of Midwest University.
