On Friday night, a young man was arrested and handed over to the police after drinking alcohol in the Raute community while living in a forest near Lekbeshi Municipality-9 Chaurase of 12.5 Surkhet.

Raju Razali, 5 neta of the municipality, was arrested by the rout youth and handed over to the police. She entered the prison where the woman was alone and was arrested by the young men.

Durga Khatri, an employee who has been working with the Raute community, said that after the young man, who was intoxicated with alcohol, tried to force himself on the woman, the Raute youth took him under control and handed him over to the police. The young people of the settlement held her after the woman said that she tried to force herself.

DSP Monjang Budthapa of District Police Office Surkhet said that the police reached the settlement on Saturday morning and took it into custody. He said that further investigation is being conducted on the arrested youth.
