Three people died in a jeep accident near Chankheli rural municipality-4 Desikhola in Humla. According to the district police office Humla, a double cab jeep numbered Karnali Pradesh 02-001 Ch 1091, which was going from Melchham to Piplang, the center of the rural municipality, had an accident on Friday.
According to Chakra Bahadur Singh, Chief Police Assistant Inspector of Melcham Police Station, in the accident, Chankheli Rural Municipality-6 of Basanti Budha, Manvir Budha of the same ward and his son died on the spot.
Kailash Sira, driver Bahadur Lama, Mahendra Rokaya, Hans Budha, Devangs Budha, Anupama Rokaya, Parvati Budha and Vimala Budha were injured in the accident. Police said that the injured were taken to a local health institution for treatment.
