A driver was killed and one person was injured in a motorcycle accident in Salyan. The driver, Prakash Gharti, 23, resident of Kumakh Rural Municipality 5, Chimalkanda, died when a motorcycle number RA 2 P 7022 was going to Nuwakot from Jhulneta in Rukum, when an accident occurred near Darma Rural Municipality-5 Bhirpatin, Salyan.
Likewise, Mahendra, 18 years old, from Chaurjahari Municipality, 14 Nyauli, Rukum Paschim, who was riding behind, was injured again.
Gharti, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Rukum District Hospital Salle for treatment and died there, said Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan. He informed that the injured returned home after being treated at Mahendra Pun's district hospital.
