According to local Konjok Lacap Gurung, lice, especially satu, chyang and livestock are used as food . He said, 'As it is cold from August to March and it gets a little warm from May, the last six months of lice are cultivated . Because it is cold and snowy in winter, there is only one crop here.'

Lacap Gurung said that because most of them believe in Buddhism, festivals such as Dasain-Tihar are not very exciting here.

According to She-Foksundo Rural Municipality Vice President Pemma Wangchen Gurung, almost all of the farmers in different wards of the rural municipality informed that they cultivate lice. Apart from lice, potato, pepper and mustard are also produced in some quantity in this area, he said.
