Two people have gone missing after jumping into the river in Humla Chankheli Rural Municipality. Two people went missing while writing a status on Facebook on Saturday morning.

According to Shankar Pokhre, Chief of Police, District Police Office, Humla, the police started searching after locals reported that Hans Budha and Karma Bohra had jumped into the Karnali river. According to the police, they have found evidence that they wrote statuses on Facebook saying that they could not stay in the society because they suspected that they were in love.

He said, "After receiving the news that two people jumped into the river, the police searched but did not find them."
