Transport service has been interrupted due to stone fall on Karnali highway. Near Raragaon located in Tila Rural Municipality-1 at 8 am, the road was blocked due to a large stone falling from above.
Transport services were stopped after stones covered the road. The road division office removed the stones using a dozer. 'Even though small vehicles including motorcycles were plying on the road, big vehicles could not ply,' said Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary, head of the division. District Police Office Jumla Chief DSP Ravinbabu Regmi said that the road has been opened. "The small stones were removed by the police," he said, "the road opened after the dozer reached and removed the big stones."
