Chandannath Municipality of Jumla has not been able to provide ambulance service for a week. The service was stopped after the protesters vandalized the parked ambulance. The patients are upset because they cannot get the ambulance service.

Now the locals have expressed their grief that they have to reserve a car at an expensive price and take it to the hospital. Local Kar Bahadur Khatri said it was sad that an ambulance carrying patients was targeted by protesters. Chief Administrative Officer Budthapa said, "Whenever a patient called during their free time, they were carrying patients elsewhere," said Budthapa, "Now the patient's relatives keep calling, but the ambulance has been vandalized and is unable to provide service."
