The Nepali Army has defused the socket bomb found in the office premises of District Coordination Committee Jumla. The bomb disposal team of Nepali Army's Devi Dutt Gan made the bomb inactive.

District Police Office Jumla Police Inspector Asim Hamal said that the bomb was disposed by the Nepali Army. After the bomb was found, the army team reached the office of the District Coordination Committee in the morning. Nepal Police and Armed Police also reached the place where the bomb was found.

On Saturday evening, workers building the wall of the coordination committee found a socket bomb. Gaurinanda Acharya, the head of the district coordination committee, said that the police and the army were informed as soon as the socket bomb was found.

It is suspected that this bomb may have been left by the Maoists during the crisis.
