The lock on the contact office of Nepal Journalist Federation Rukum West district branch, which was locked 5 months ago, has been opened from Thursday.

Press Union, Press Chowtari and Samajwadi Press Organization have announced the opening of the lock on 5th Chait. Press Union close to Congress, Press Union close to UML and Samajwadi Press Organization close to Unified Samajwadi locked the contact office of the Federation in a private house in Khalanga Bazar located in District Headquarters Musikot Municipality-1. 

Secretary Dipendra Mahtara informed through a statement that the office was locked due to the demands of 'purification and recommendation of ordinary members, financial transparency within the district branch, proportional advertisement system and the current branch's arbitrariness in nominated members in the district working committee'.

"According to the conclusion of several discussions and negotiations between the various protesting organizations and the Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Journalists is positive regarding the demands made by the organizations and the lockout was opened by agreeing on the commitment of both parties to improve in the future," the statement said.

and the development and expansion of the media in the district and compliance with the journalistic code of conduct will only benefit the Rukumeli media sector in the release. All stakeholders have been appealed to help each other, cooperate and unite.
