According to the commission, they have been found to have committed corruption in the contract process for the construction of ward office buildings of Ward No. 6, 9 and 10 of Bheri municipality in the financial year 2080/81 by seriously violating the public procurement laws and regulations.
According to the statement issued by the authority, they have been demanded to be punished as the main offenders because they have committed an offense under Section 22 of the same Act by obtaining illegal benefits in cash and other nature in criminal activities under Section 17 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059.
Similarly, the Commission has filed a case against Acting Chief Administrative Officer Gharti along with Engineer Mohan Malla, Law Officer Prakash Kumar Shahi, Social Development Officer Anis Shah, Accountant Rajendra Bahadur Kathayat, Jinsi Branch Chief Kriti Bahadur Thapa and Contractor Company Gangakumari Khadka and Chitra Bahadur Bohra.
