One person has died after falling from the roof of a house in Salyan. 56-year-old Dayan Bahadur Khatri, resident of Chhatreswari rural municipality 4 Jhangkhani of the district, died after falling from the bardli of his own house.
Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office, Salyan, said that Khatri, who fell about 9 feet after falling from the bardli, sustained injuries on his head, mouth and other parts of his body and died on the way while being brought to Karnali Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
According to him, Khatri fell from Bardali around 1 o'clock on Friday night. He informed that Khatri's body is now in Karnali Hospital Srinagar.
It is not clear why Khatri went out at night and the police are investigating the incident.
