A child has died due to flood in She-Foksundo Rural Municipality of Upper Dolpa.

The 9-year-old son of Gyalchen Lama, a local living in Namdo village of Ward No. 4, died. 

The village vice president Pemawangchen Gurung informed that the boy died after being swept away by the flood in the river near the village on Monday afternoon. According to him, he received the news about the incident, but he said that he could not get the information because he was outside.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ruk Bahadur Khadka of District Police Office Dolpa said that although there was a verbal report, he could not get detailed information as he could not be contacted by phone. DSP Khadka says that he is trying to contact the police units in Upper Dolpa to get information about the

incident.
