The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a case against officials including the then chief administrative officer for misappropriating funds for the construction of roads in Soru rural municipality of Mugu district.
Under Soru Rural Municipality-1, a grant amount of 36 lakh 40 thousand was received for Jawaldhara PCC road construction scheme. According to the plan agreement, the total cost of road construction was fixed at 40 lakh 13 thousand 439 with public contribution of 3 lakh 73 thousand 439 thousand.

Committee spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Paudel informed that the demand for imprisonment and fine has been demanded against the coordinator of the monitoring committee, Dalvir Sarki, member Pune Shahi and the then ward president Misindra Shahi of Ward No. 1.
