A 32-year-old man has been arrested for seriously injuring his wife by hitting her with a sickle in Salyan.

32-year-old Deepak Kawar, who had hit his wife with a sickle, was arrested by the police from 14 Malneta, Sharada Municipality, who was currently living on rent in Srinagar Bazar.

According to Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan, Kavar hit his 27-year-old wife Pavitra Budhathoki on the head with a sickle after a general dispute. Pavitra was seriously injured by the sickle blow. After normal treatment, she was taken to Nepalgunj for further treatment.
