The affected farmers have said that 25 sheep died due to the attack of snow leopards in Badakhark Lake in Tripurasundari Municipality-2 of Dolpa.
Deputy Inspector of Police of Tripurakot Police Station Yam Bahadur Basnat informed that when he left Patan for Charicharan, he was attacked by a snowman at night. According to him, among the dead sheep are 11 from local Nari Thapa, 5 from Lakshmi Rokaya and 3 from Padam Budha. 3 from Hari KC and 3 from Bal Bahadur Ukheda were also found dead.
The farmers who suffered have demanded compensation.
