A cargo truck driver died in an accident in Khandachakra Municipality-2 Thamkot. The cargo truck number 1 B 4326 carrying food, retail, gas and cement from Nepalgunj met with an accident on Wednesday at 8:30 pm.
Kalikot police chief Tek Bahadur Rawat said that the driver Man Bahadur Saru Magar, a resident of Dailekh, died on the spot in an accident when the road washed away while going to Thamkot from Manm Village's Mayor Khola.
"DSP Rawat said, 'The accident occurred when the truck was being driven on the road at night,' DSP Rawat said, 'The co-driver fell on the inner road and fell down to throw stones, so he managed to escape. It fell 100 meters from the road. It's like a truck.'
Takk Pandey of Khandachakra-2 from Nepalgunj, carrying food retail and cement and his own gas, when the accident occurred when the truck was reaching the rich man's house, said Gobind Prasad Chaudhary, information officer of the district police office.
According to him, the truck belongs to Bhimprasad Chaulagai of Shubhakalika-4 Chaulagaiwada. Thamkot village is at a distance of one km from the Karnali highway.
