Aathbiskot's Keetma health post and rioting

What you should know

A person who entered the Keetma Health Chowki located in Aathbiskot Municipality-14 and raised a ruckus has been arrested. On Monday night around 11:00 pm, the local Tilak Malla, who suddenly came to the hospital premises and made noise and caused damage to the belongings, was arrested by the police.

Chief public health inspector Dev Bahadur Chand said that when a woman was being given birth inside the health post at night, she suddenly came to the health post premises with a commotion. If you watch the video of the night of the incident, you can clearly see that Malla forced his way inside with a sharp weapon in his hand. Also, it seems that he also spoke obscene words and assaulted the health workers who tried to stop him.

Giving more information on this matter, Chand, the head of the health post, said that he was scared when this kind of incident happened when he was busy treating patients. He said, "The vehicle that was blocking the use of the emergency curtain after hitting the entrance of the health post was damaged," he said.

Police arrested him involved in the incident after filing a complaint at the district police office on Tuesday morning. Following the complaint, DSP Bista informed that Malla was arrested from his house in Athabiscot and a case was registered under 'criminal nuisance'.

The employees working there have said that they are scared after this kind of incident happened at the health post. And also demanded that those involved in the incident be punished according to the law.
