The Manm Bihani section of the Surkhet-Jumla road under the Karnali highway blocked by landslides has been opened after 5 hours. DSP Tek Bahadur Rawat of Kalikot said that the road, which was blocked since 7:30 am on Monday, was opened from 12:40 pm.

Cars coming from Jumla and Mugu to Surkhet were stopped after a landslide occurred at Bhainagar Chharegad in Khandachakra Municipality-5. All the vehicles that were stopped after removing the morning landslides were brought out by the road division office at Pili Bazar in Jumla to open the road which was blocked by landslides in the morning due to rain since night.

Indra Prasad Neupane of Tilagufa-5 khalla said that even though he reached dawn at 7 am on Monday, he was going to return to Surkhet after worshiping Pugamalika Devi as the road was blocked by a landslide. He reached Manm in the bolero of Acharya vegetable shop after walking from dawn to 8 in the morning and reaching half way.
