7 people were injured in a jeep accident at Kalikot Chowkhola in Surkhet Jumla road section under Karnali highway. A jeep coming from Jumla towards Surkhet met with an accident in Khandachakra Municipality-10 Chau river around 10 am on Friday morning.
DSP Tek Bahadur Rawat informed that the injured were rescued and sent to District Hospital Kalikot for treatment. 5 seriously injured and minor injured, driver and co-driver were taken to Kalikot district hospital for treatment. According to him, the jeep fell about 100 meters down the Tila river from the road. The names and addresses of the injured are yet to be released.
