The Karnali highway blocked by landslides has been put into operation.
The road section under the Karnali Highway, blocked since 7:00 pm on Monday due to landslides, has been operational since Tuesday evening.
Road division office Jumla chief Dipendra Kumar Choudhary informed that the road closed due to the landslide in the river Gangne in Kalikot has been put into operation.
Road division office Jumla said that after the opening of the road, the vehicles that were stopped to reach Humla through Kalikot, Jumla, Mugu, Bajura are heading towards their destination. Gagane river is the most dangerous and prone to landslides on the Karnali highway.
