Police Inspector Resham Khatri of District Police Office Salyan said that a large landslide occurred near Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3 Chorkhola and the Rapti Highway was blocked for a long time as the landslide removal work could not be done during the night. He informed that since Monday morning, the JCB has been used to remove the landslide.
According to him, it seems that it will take one more hour to remove the landslide. He said that after the rains, there are always landslides in the vicinity of Chorkhola, so the passengers are suffering and the lives of the passengers are also at risk when the roads are damaged due to the landslides.
