Emergency relief has been distributed to the fire victims of Shubhakalika-6 Haundi.

Deep Bahadur Shahi, ward president of Shubhakalika-6 said that 6 sacks of rice, 12 kg of pulses, iodized salt, cooking oil and other relief materials were distributed to 15 people from four families who were in trouble due to food and clothes burning due to the fire. 

In coordination with Ward Office, Save the Children and VDSafe in partnership with Sahayatra Tesro Project, with the aim of helping the fire victims to escape, emergency food  Rajendra Sahakari, program manager of Vidsafe, said that the support was provided. Children are the most affected by fire. He said that the food was distributed because there was a problem in getting food in the morning and evening. According to him, a relief of 77 thousand 380 rupees has been given.

There are 5 children in the fire victim family. Khadak Bahadur Shahi, the victim's parent, said that it was difficult for them to go to school as their books and school dresses were also burnt.

Last Thursday at 12 o'clock in the night, the power line was cut off and the property of 4 families of one house was damaged to the tune of 30 lakh rupees. Kalikot police chief Tek Bahadur Rawat informed that a 9-room house in which four families lived was burnt down when the fire ignited in the cloth was cut off and the fire spread through the wood.
