Under the leadership of the district administration here, a government team has left for Badimalika temple for the first time carrying a doli of worship.

The team that started from Manm on Friday started from Raskot on Saturday morning. Prajia Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said that since the main pilgrimage site of Badimalika, Triveni Dham, is in the territory of Calikot and the chief priest also goes from Phukot in Calikot, 10 people were sent along with a government team on behalf of the district.

Badimalika is a major religious place in western Nepal. He said, "As it is a tradition for pilgrims to bathe in Triveni Dham, Juli Patan and priests also go from Calikot, we have sent a government team as a mark of respect."

For the worship of Badimalika, official worship material (doli) was sent from the then Sinja state Jumla, while representing the Doti state, it is customary to bring official worship material (petharo) from Doti.
