The Rapti highway has been blocked for 10 hours due to the landslide. The highway was blocked due to a large landslide near Bagchaur municipality 2 Kharibot in the district.

After the road was closed, vehicles and passengers were stranded. According to the police, the nearby passengers are walking towards their destination. 

The landslide that happened on Tuesday night is now being removed by the JCB of the road division. District Police Office Salyan Police Inspector Resham Khatri said that it will take some time to remove the landslide.
