Before he went to Badimalika, the priest used to change every year. It was compulsory to find a priest every year. When he became a priest and started carrying the official doli of Jumla, he has not had to look for another priest since then.
He said, 'I remember the misfortune of having to carry my doli from Badimalika. I am happy that I am able to offer you more than that. Many devotees fall ill. Obstacles keep coming to the government team. Bishnuprasad is a priest who can do the same for all of them.
Every year, a few days before going to Badimalika, the administration office hands over the letter to go as a priest. He does not deny that letter.
In the year 2051, at the age of 30, he reached Badimalika with desire. Seeing his desire, the district administration office started sending him to help cook rice for the government team.

Sometimes those who drink alcohol cause pain on the road,' he says, 'I feel like I can't bear the suffering on the road, but when I see the courage of the devotees, I am inspired to keep going.' Now he is also the priest of the sports development committee. It takes 15 days to reach Badimalika from Jumla.
After receiving the prayer doli from the Chandannath temple through Darbar Malika in front of the district administration office Jumla, no one is allowed to give doli. It cannot be carried on two shoulders. Even in such a long journey, his shoulders do not get tired. "After many years, I say I won't come anymore, but my heart doesn't accept it," he said.
He allocates 18 days of the year for Badimalika. Government teams from Jumla and Doti are held in high esteem in Badimalika. Earlier, from Kumaon to Palpa to the west, this region was the Doti state. Doti State lost to Tibet twice. Then vows were made to Gorakhnath of Doti and Chandannath of Jumla. Even now, the government team has gone to Badimalika with 121 soldiers and 7 salutes. Doti is known as the elder and Jumla as the younger states. According to Pujari Upadhyaya, the journey to Badimalika started 412 years ago.
'Now I am going to Badimalika for the fifteenth time,' said Upadhyay, 'I have vowed to go for 21 years now.' Earlier security personnel used to go with me. Idols and ornaments have to be taken from Jumla. Badimalika Yatra starts every year on the day of Nag Panchami. Every day they walk only two hours.
As the entire government team goes with the wishes of the villagers, a special pooja is performed. The doli is sent and brought in with great pomp when it comes and goes.
