During one year, 423 vehicle accidents have occurred in Surkhet district. In which 38 people died and 936 people were injured. Among the dead, 29 are men. There are 12 drivers and 1 child. There are 6 women and 3 girls.
Similarly, District Traffic Police Office Surkhet has collected revenue equal to 14.45 million. In the financial year 2081/082, it has been informed that 1 crore 445 lakh 15 thousand rupees has been collected. Revenue has been collected from 17 thousand 151 vehicles violating various traffic rules. In this financial year, more than 2.9 million revenue has been collected than last year, traffic police chief Vakil Sunar informed.
