Nepal's highest Pachal Falls in Kalikot has been listed as a tourist destination by the Government of Nepal.
For the financial year 082/083, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has listed Kalikot at the 64th position among the 100 major destinations of Nepal. Prakash Kumar Kathayat, information technology officer of the municipality, said that the tourism board has created an information technology-friendly QR code in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and UNDP to promote the waterfall. The water flowing in Pachaljharna, located between Khandachakra Municipality and Palata Rural Municipality of Kalikot, flows from the side of Chulimalika after the root bursts.
