To reduce child marriage, a district level network against child marriage has been formed in Kalikot. Under the leadership of human rights activist Kali Bahadur Malla, a joint campaign against child marriage district branch was formed.

Former President Khadananda Adhikari said that Rajendra Sahakari is the vice-chairman of the committee formed to conduct the campaign against child marriage in the district, Namraj Yogi is the secretary, Netra Bahadur Shahi is the joint secretary, Nistakumari Karki is the treasurer, Parvati Choulagai, Lalit Bista, Dilliprasad Choulagai, Dilu Bam, Nidara Sunar and Ramesh Sunar are the members.

According to him, by forming committees in all 10 districts of the Karnali state-level network, there has been interaction against child marriage, street plays, monitoring of child marriage, etc.
