In Surkhet district, the distribution of spare parts has been accelerated. Lalpurja has been given to the landless, Dalits, squatters and unorganized residents.

Land Problem Solution Commission Surkhet has distributed Lalpurja to 228 people of Lekveshi and Veriganga municipalities on the same day on Friday . President Keshar Bahadur Oli informed that the distribution of parts to landowners has been accelerated.

207 people from Weriganga and 21 people from Lekweshi have been distributed land owner parts, he said. A few days ago, rations were distributed to 104 people of Ward No. 7 and 8 of Chokune Rural Municipality of West Surkhet.

The previously stopped parts distribution has been moved forward. According to him, work is being done on this in other municipalities as well. In Chokune and Panchapuri Municipalities, the work of more than 400 people has progressed, while in Barahatal Rural Municipality-7, work is being done to distribute Lajpurja to more than 200 locals.

Similarly, Chairman Oli informed that work has been done with a plan to distribute spare parts to around 200 people in Gurvakot Municipality. According to him, the work has progressed in Birendranagar Municipality - 1 and 2. He said that 38,000 to 40,000 citizens in Surkhet district should be given red rations.

Locals are happy after getting Lajpurja . 83-year-old Dhan Bahadur Sarki of Maintada, Veriganga Municipality, said that he was very happy even though he barely got the red portion of the land he has been sitting on for 48 years.

'When I was 17 years old, I migrated from Salyan to Maintada with my family,' he said, 'I am satisfied that the land where the family is living is in my name.' He also expressed the belief that the future generations will be comfortable if the land they have been enjoying for years is in their name.

Moti Khatri, a local of Katheghari, said that the dream of old age has been fulfilled. He said that at the age of 71, there is no limit to the happiness of getting land owner parts.

The Central Vice President of the Land Problem Solution Commission, Sanad Kumar Karki, said that the Surkhet Committee of the Land Commission has been given all the rights from the preparation of raw materials to distribution. He congratulated Surkhet district for becoming the best district in the country in terms of red parts distribution.
