Chief Minister of Karnali Province Yamlal Kandel has signed a performance agreement with the ministers of the province.

In a program held on Thursday at the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, the ministers and the chief secretary signed a performance agreement with the Chief Minister Kandel. The performance agreement was signed on the day the financial year started, in order to perform the work within the jurisdiction specified in the Provincial Government Work Division Regulations 2074 and to make the budget allocated for the current financial year result-oriented and effective. Economic Planning Minister Rajeev Vikram Shah, Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Vinod Kumar Shah, Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development Minister Sher Bahadur Budha, Social Development Minister Ghanshyam Bhandari Industries, Tourism Forestry and Environment Minister Suresh Kumar Adhikari and Chief Secretary Birendra Kumar Yadav had a working agreement with Chief Minister Kandel at the

event.  

Chief Minister Kandel said that the performance agreement was made to make the operations of the ministry more efficient with their responsibility and accountability to the higher bodies. He directed the ministers to implement the issues mentioned in the performance agreement by making an annual calendar for the ministry. He has asked the ministers to make a performance agreement with their secretaries on the basis of the working agreement, with a work schedule.

He also instructed to complete his work so as to get support from the citizens. Chief Secretary Yadav informed that the performance agreement has been made as per the provisions of Karnali Province Good Governance Act 2076.
