One person died in a tractor accident in Jajarkot on Monday. District Police Office Jajarkot has informed that the deceased is 20-year-old Dhan Bahadur Vick of Bheri Municipality-9.
Chhinchu-Jajarkot road section from Fera area going to Chedachaur K.P. The accident occurred when an empty tractor numbered 01-002 and 06007 fell about 100 meters below the road on the banks of the Bheri river. Police said that Dhan Bahadur Vick died on the spot.
The co-driver of the tractor, 15-year-old Birendra Periyar, resident of Bheri Municipality-7, was injured. Hariram Dangi, spokesperson of District Police Office, Jajarkot, informed that he is being treated at Mission Hospital, Chaurjahari.
