2 people have been arrested for demanding money to settle the case. According to District Police Office Surkhet, 43-year-old Krishna Bahadur Tharu and 34-year-old Muna Chand, resident of Birendranagar Municipality-13 and Indrapur, who live in Geruwa Rural Municipality-3 Shanti Bazar, Surkhet, have been detained.

During the investigation into the crime of indecent behavior, the police have said that they have collected Rs 50,000 from the family of the person in custody for the purpose of criminal benefit and recovery by freeing the defendant from the custody of the district police and settling the case.
