The road has been blocked since Monday morning due to a landslide in the Gangane River in Calikot under the Surkhet-Jumla road of the Karnali highway.

There has been a landslide in Gagane river due to heavy rain since last night. He said, 'The vehicle is not in a condition to move.' According to him, in order to remove the landslide, the JCV Gagane River has been sent to remove the fallen stones at the Khulalu Zero Point where the Karnali Corridor starts.
Prajia Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said that it was difficult to work because of the landslide. "The road division Jumla has sent a machine," he said, "The machine has reached the place where the big landslide occurred after removing the small landslide, so if the water stops, the one-way road can be reopened by noon." 'When the road is not fast, there is always trouble,' he said, 'when it rains, landslides and mud, when it is winter, it is difficult to travel with dust.'
