In the 54 years since the track was opened, Kalimati Rural Municipality-7 Ghuiyabari has been directly connected to Khalanga in the road network under Khalanga-Marke-Kalimati-Ghuiyabari-Chapargauri-Nepalganj road.
Ghuiyabari has been connected to the road network after 54 years of implementing the scheme after Kalimati Rural Municipality opened the track in the intermediate area. Since it is more than 200 km from Salyan Khalanga to Dang Tulsipur to Nepalgunj and 84 km to go through Khalanga-Kalimati-Damdawali-Ghuiyabari-Chappargauri, the digging of this road was started in the year 2028 when Nev Bahadur Mall was the Forest Minister.
After the construction of the 54 km road from Khalanga to Hattidamar in Kalimati, there was regular traffic from few years to Damdawali. Kalimati-7 could not be connected to the road network with Ghuiyabari municipality and district headquarters due to the lack of work in the intermediate area. Although the relevant agencies have allocated budget several times, due to difficulty in environmental testing, the track could not be opened in the 12 km area from Hattidamar to Ghuiyabari, which is the intermediate border area.
Kalimati-7, which is considered remote in the district, has been connected to the road network with Ghuiyabari Municipality and Khalanga. Locals are happy after the road opened up to Ghuiyabari.
The 12 km road track from Hattidmar to Ghuiyabari under the Madhyawati area has been opened with 2.5 lakhs from the municipality and 1.5 lakhs from the provincial government. He said that after the opening of the track, it will be easy for the locals to move around the municipality and the headquarters Khalanga from Ghuiyabari. The width of the 12 km road is 6 meters in the budget of the province and municipality. As it is rainy season now, the vehicle does not run on the new cutting. . As soon as the rains are over, the drive will be started. If the car runs, the need for the residents of Ghuiyabari to come to Hattidamar to board the car will end forever," he said.
After the opening of the track from Hattidmar to Ghuiyabari, residents of Ward No. 4, 5 and 7 are relieved, said Suresh Gahamgar, a resident of Damdawali and a teacher.
If the road is opened in Banke National Nikunj area, it will be easier to go to Nepalgunj, he says. "If you can go to Nepalgunj by crossing a distance of 30 km, then you have to go to Nepalgunj by crossing 200 km as there is no work in Nikunj area," he said. If the road is open, it will be very easy.
Chairman of Kalimati Rural Municipality, Dan Bahadur Khatri, said that after the continuous efforts to open the road track in the intermediate area, Khalanga to Ghuiyabari can be directly connected to the road network. He says that efforts are also being made to open the road in Nikunj area.
