Farmers of Jumla have taken to the streets demanding payment of apple insurance. They demanded to get the money for apple insurance immediately and to insure this year's apples as well.

Submitting a memorandum to the Prime Minister's Office through the District Administration Office, he expressed his anger that the insurance amount was not paid even when the financial year was about to end. He said, 'Jumla is an apple district. Apples were insured to get compensation in case of damage caused by drought and hail. We have not been able to get the money for that yet.' 

They took out a procession shouting slogans from near the children's temple in the headquarters of Khalanga to the district administration office. Khadk Bahadur Sejuwal, coordinator of the apple insurance initiative committee, expressed regret over the hesitation to give the insurance amount to the farmers. He said, "We have repeatedly demanded that the insurance amount be provided immediately. But because the insurance company paid us, we started the protest program on the streets. Last year, the apples did not fall due to drought and even the apples that did fall were destroyed by hail. The farmers believe that the state has insulted the farmers by not giving them the insurance amount. 

coordinator Sejuwal said, "Farmers were excited about apple insurance but now they have become discouraged if they don't get it." 

They have formed a farmers' network demanding that insurance funds be provided. The network will not only take initiatives for apple insurance but also monitor the offices and organizations related to agriculture. 

The financial year is coming to an end. We have waited till now, coordinator Sejuwal said, "The waiting hour is over. And we went to the protest program. If the insurance squeeze is not released within a week, he has also warned that the office of Shikhar Insurance Company will be locked.
