Surkhet police have seized 35 sacks of illegal herbs.

Birendranagar municipality- 6 bus park from Bh. 1 Ch. 3592 no. According to District Police Office Surkhet, the police seized 2 quintals of 91 kg and 100 grams of illegal herbs in 35 sacks from his vehicle.

The spokesperson of the District Police Office Surkhet, DSP Mohanjung Budthapa, informed that when a vehicle going from Jumlar Road towards Nepalgunj was checked on suspicion, an illegal herb that looked like a bill of exchange was found and taken into custody. He said that Sinki and Gundruk came to open the bill, but after finding herbs, they seized the vehicle with the driver.  According to

spokesperson Budhthapa, the driver Suman Gharti, 35 years old from Pyuthan district, has been taken into custody and sent to Division Forest Office Surkhet for necessary action.
