It is said that the agreement was made with the aim of moving forward by cooperating on these issues. The agreement was reached on the occasion of the 15th annual celebration of Midwest University.
It is said that the agreement has been reached with the aim of academic support and coordination and cooperation in various programs in the construction of overall development within the municipal area. According to the
agreement, it is said that the university will support the educational upgrading of schools within the city, promotion of innovative learning and social research. The agreement includes public service related research, dissemination and publication, alternative energy and environmental improvement programs.
Mayor Mohamaya Dhakal informed that the university has social awareness, training, seminars and other capacity building programs and aims to promote local goods and services and entrepreneurship. She said that the municipality has been cooperating in service delivery by studying, analyzing and researching at the local level. The
agreement includes physical infrastructure development and resource management, human resources, information, data, materials, library and intellectual property and other resources including support, exchange and collaboration and providing student development for classified communities, research and promotion of local knowledge, skills, technology and culture and other activities of local importance and which can be done by mutual agreement.
The agreement between the two bodies is four years old. It is also mentioned in the agreement that it can be further renewed.
