Economic Affairs and Planning Minister of Karnali Province Rajeev Vikram Shah has said that he has brought the budget to connect the people to development.
In a press conference held on Monday to inform about the budget, he claimed that this year's budget was brought for the people. He said that this year's budget will connect the people directly compared to the previous one.
He said that despite many pressures, he was able to bring a budget that would make the people feel the development. "Abandoning the issue of distribution to individuals, we have allocated the budget for building big roads and bridges in the district," he said, "We have increased the ceiling to all the ministries and given the budget." Minister Shah informed that by reducing the budget set aside for parliamentarians, he succeeded in putting the budget for the people.
Karnali state government has brought a budget of 32 billion 99 crore 66 lakh 55 thousand. The state government has released the budget for the next fiscal year 2082/082.
