8 houses have been destroyed by fire in Humla. 8 houses were destroyed by fire in Unapani village of Sarkegad rural municipality-3 on Sunday night.
District Police Office Humla informed that the houses of local Vijan Fadera, Dhan Bahadur Rawat, Janak Rawat, Birkh Rawat, Pale Fadera, Lalkaura Fadera, Dudhshila Fadera and Batulli Fadera were destroyed by fire.
The fire was brought under control by the police of Sarkegad police station and locals. According to the police, there was no human or animal damage. Local Dhan Bahadur Rawat said that all the belongings in the house were destroyed in the fire. Full details of the damage are yet to come.
A team led by Chief District Officer Narayan Pandey from the headquarters along with DSP Shankar Pokharel of District Police Office Humla has gone to Unapani.
