The Rapti highway has been blocked due to landslides after the rains. The highway was blocked after a landslide occurred in Chorkhola located in Kapurkot rural municipality-3.

Police Inspector Resham Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office Salyan  The excavator of the road construction company said that the landslide is being removed. According to him, the black paper work started from Chorkhola to Ramri has also been affected. 

It will take some time for the road to open due to a large landslide, he said. Due to the incessant rain since the landslide, vehicles have not been able to drive even on the rural roads of the district.
