Three farmers from Jumla received the Chief Minister's Best Award

Three farmers from Jumla have received the Chief Minister's Best Farmer Award. Santosh Basnet of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Industry, Rita Pandey of Pandey Animal Husbandry Industry and Santakali Bhandari of Asal Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Industry received the Best Chief Minister Farmer Award.

Animal Hospital and Animal Services Office Jumla selected 9 people for the Chief Minister Best Farmer Award. Out of which 3 were declared the best farmers. Animal Development Officer Padam Bahadur KC said that this award is an opportunity for farmers who are professionally engaged in farming.

His Anwar Santosh got Rs 30,000, Rita and Santakali got Rs 25,000 and a certificate. Santosh has excelled in goat rearing. He has 400 sheep and goats. "This award made me feel that hard work is appreciated," he said, "It has inspired me to become more professional in the days to come." Rita has reared 12 buffaloes.

Santakali has 200 sheep. "Livelihood has come from sheep farming," she said.

Head of District Coordination Committee Gaurinanda Acharya said that the society is alive with the hard work of farmers. "If farmers do not produce, there will be hunger," he said, "Farmers are of great importance." It is important to give respect and opportunity.

Head of Animal Hospital and Animal Development Office Gyanendrasingh Budthapa said that the aim of the Chief Minister's Best Farmer Award is to encourage farmers.
