Construction of footpath at Kumakh Lake to increase tourists

A footpath has been constructed to reach the temple at Kumakh Lake, which is known as a religious tourist spot in the district. In order to increase internal and external tourists, the footpath has been constructed through the tourism promotion program of the Division Forest Office Salyan and the labor donation of the locals.

The devotees were forced to take risks and go to the temple on the top of Kumakh Lekh, as there were rocks all around and in the heavy rush, even the goreto was not moving. After the construction of the footpath, it has become easier for the devotees and trekking lovers.

Tek Bahadur Rawal, Head of Division Forest Office Salyan, said that 320 meters of footpath and 2 doors in the temple were built in Kumakh Lake with Rs.

The secretary of the Pathway Construction Committee, Mohan DC, said that the footpath, which was constructed by cutting out rocks and rocks at a height of 2,537 meters between Kumakh Rural Municipality and Siddhakumakh Rural Municipality, has made it very easy for internal and external tourists to travel.
