A person died when a friend's loaded gun went off while returning from hunting in Dailekh's Mahabu Rural Municipality-4 Batase.
Local Purna Bahadur Thapa was killed when his friend's gun fell while returning home from hunting wild animals on Thursday night. According to Police Inspector Lal Bahadur Sunar, Information Officer of District Police Office, Dailekh, 30-year-old Surya Bahadur Thapa died on the spot when the bullet pierced the chest and back of Purna Bahadur Thapa.
Information Officer Police Inspector Lal Bahadur Sunar said that the preliminary investigation of the incident is underway.
